The Grooming Process
Pre-Bath Prep (if needed): For longer coats, we may do a rough clip to ease the bathing process.
Luxurious Baths: Baths with specialized shampoos tailored to your dog’s coat, skin, and any health concerns. (flea shampoo incurs an extra charge).
Fluffy Dry and Detangle: Thorough towel-drying, followed by gentle blow-drying and careful de-matting or de-shedding as needed.
Ear Cleaning and Nail Trim: They will then have their ears cleaned, and if necessary plucked, and nails trimmed.
Finishing the Haircut: whether it is clipped, hand scissored, or a combination of both, depends on the desired style, and finish of the dog.
The Finishing Touch: A beautiful haircut – clipped, hand-scissored, or a combination – to achieve the perfect look.
Important Note:
Cooperation is Key: While we strive for the best results, the final style and services (like ear plucking) depend on your dog’s behavior and cooperation. Please ensure your dog is comfortable being handled to make the experience positive for everyone.
Safety Above All: If we feel a dog poses a risk to themselves, other dogs, or our staff, we may need to pause the groom and discuss alternative options.
